Benefits of Abutilon indicum plant

Botanical Name : Abutilon indicum
Family Name : Malvaceae
Common Name : Abutilon, Indian Mallow,Kashmir Himalayan Mallow
Part Used : Whole Plant

Uses : It is sweet, cooling, digestive, laxative, expectorant, diuretic, astringent, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anthelmintic, demulcent and aphrodisiac. It is useful in gout, tuberculosis, ulcers, bleeding disorders, and worms. Decoction used in toothache and tender gums. Demulcents of leaves are locally applied to boils and ulcers. Roots are prescribed in fever, chest affection and urethrities.

Mentha spicata-Spearmint tea can help regulate hormone levels. A study conducted by Turkish researchers indicates that spearmint tea can help women with hirsutism. The study subjects were given herbal spearmint tea twice a day for five days in the follicular phase of their menstrual cycles. The follicular phase begins on the first day of the cycle and lasts about 14 days.
