Atibala-Abutilon indicum : Each part of the Atibala plant is a wealth of medicinal properties: the leaves posses antifungal, anti-diabetic, hypoglycaemic and immunomodulatory properties, while the root is analgesic and antimicrobial in nature. The seed and its extract exhibit diuretic, aphrodisiac, emollient, demulcent, laxative, and antioxidant properties. Moreover, it contains contain mucilage, tannin, amino acids, glucose, fructose, galactose, and gallic acid.
