Comfrey Fertilizer – The Natural Powerhouse for Plants

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is one of the best organic fertilizers available. It’s often called a “dynamic accumulator” because its deep roots draw up nutrients like potassium (K), phosphorus (P), and nitrogen (N) from the soil, storing them in its leaves. When you turn those leaves into fertilizer, you get a nutrient-rich tonic that helps plants grow strong and healthy.

Use for: Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, fruit trees, Medicinal plants, herbs and flowering plants.
Benefits: High in potassium – ideal for fruiting and flowering.

Availability : 50,100 grams pkt

How to Make:
To make comfrey tea with dried leaves, soak a small amount of dried, chopped leaves (e.g., 1 cup) in water for several weeks, or steep a larger quantity of fresh leaves for about two weeks. For the fresh method, fill a bucket about one-third to two-thirds full with chopped comfrey, add water, weigh it down with a rock, and cover it for two to three weeks. The resulting liquid should be diluted with water (often to the strength of black tea) and can be used as a potent plant fertilizer.

FOLIARDilute up to 15 parts of water to 1 part tea and spray/mist directly onto the leaves of the plant you are fertilizing. i. ESTABLISHED PLANTS:Foliar spray can be less diluted - 7 parts water to 1 part comfrey tea.
