Comfrey is a traditional medicinal herb valued for relieving pain associated with a Herniated Disc. Rich in allantoin and anti-inflammatory compounds, it helps reduce swelling, soothe irritated nerves, and support tissue repair around the spine. When applied externally as an oil, ointment, or compress, comfrey can ease lower back pain, stiffness, and muscle tension. It promotes faster recovery and improved mobility when used consistently. However, it should only be used topically, as internal use may harm the liver. For best results, combine comfrey treatment with physiotherapy and proper posture care.
