Salvia apiana plants in Kashmir

Salvia apiana requires well-drained, fairly dry soils and full sun. Excessive watering of white sage, especially during summer months, is likely to kill the plant. White sage is particularly good for stabilizing or restoring disturbed or degraded areas.
Sage tea will decrease sweating, salivation, milk secretions, and mucous secretions of the sinuses, throat, and lungs It is the best herbal treatment for decreasing lactation during weaning in either animals or humans. A cold cup of the tea is a good stomach tonic. The lukewarm tea is sufficiently
bacteriostatic and astringent to make it useful for treating nearly all sore throats, first gargled and thedrunk. The crushed leaves are made into a reliable uterine hemostatic tea, good for heavy menstruation but inadvisable for the new mother who plans to nurse.

""medicinal plants"

As there is plenty of illnesses, there is also plenty of herbs, given to the mankind as a help in their lives. To use medicinal herbs is more natural way to heal your body and mind, than eating pills... And how the medicinal herbs works, when you use them for healing? Let me say it briefly. The medicinal herbs itself do not heal, bur makes bridge to the light vibrations, which heals.

We all know that medical herbs heal. But how can a few leaves or dried roots of some plant help to solve our health problems? Is that the invisible radiation that clairvoyants can see glowing from medicinal herbs that heal us, or the chemicalcompounds which healing herbs contain?

If we will follow the treatment process on body level, it might seem that the healing factor is a whole complex of substances which healing herbs contain. It sounds convincing  we add to the body what it lacks and it will work again. But what in the case of homeopathic preparations where the presence of chemical compounds can not be detected because the original substance is diluted by water millions of times? The same is the case when a healing plant is applied only over the sick place and it will not get in physical contact with our body, then it is not possible to explain its medicinal power on the material basis.

In the case of healing herbs energetic invisible radiation, it needs to be said that the biggest vitality is in the fresh plants. This radiation markedly decreases by drying and completely disappears by long-term storing of herbs. However, many of medicinal herbs effectively heal even after several years of storage.

So what does heal in medicinal herbs at last? It can be hard to believe but the medicinal herbs do not heal. They only create a bridge to the energy which in fact heals. Each herb contains in itself some very fine higher vibration which, based on the law of homogeneity, creates a bridge to the radiation of Light.

This higher vibration affects every healing herb in all directions and it manifests on its height, colour of the flowers or on the shape of leaves, in the colour spectrum of ethereal-matter radiation and also in the content of substances in an organic plants compounds.

How does it all work? Every illness is in some way a breach of harmony, and also a breach of natural energy flow which vitalizes our body. But, if a man stands somehow against this energy, for example by bad traits of character, or if by influence of low demands, he surrounds himself with dark energies which will create blockages in his body. Then, the life energy can not flow throughout the whole body and therefore some of its parts stop working properly. The medicinal herb at the time of healing creates by its own spectrum of vibrations a bridge to the missing radiation, which can then flow into our body again, and heal it.

For every disease there are a healing herbs which in their basic vibration contain exactly the same radiation that man lacks. Today more than 4000 medicinal plants are known, which were given to man to help in his suffering until he learns to remove the cause of disturbance of his inner balance. Because the illness of the body often shows on illness of soul.

The plant introduction centre also nestled within the garden carries out advanced plant study  into the medicinal plants in the garden, researching and validating their traditional uses.

Kashmir Elem trees

Kashmir Elem tree

Cashmerian Elem-Ulmus wallichiana
Family : Ulmaceae (Elm Family)

Ulmus wallichiana Planch., the Himalayan elm, also known as the Kashmir elm Ulmus wallichiana and Bhutan elm, is a mountain tree ranging from central Nuristan in Afghanistan, through northern Pakistan and northern India to western Nepal at elevations of 800–3000 m. Although dissimilar in appearance, its common name is occasionally used in error for the cherry bark elm Ulmus villosa, which is also endemic to the Kashmir, but inhabits the valleys, not the mountain slopes. The species is closely related to the wych elm U. glabra.

A strong fibre is obtained from the inner bark. It is used for cordage, slow matches and sandals. The young shoots are used to make strong ropes. A dye is obtained from the ashes of the burnt twigs. The colour is not given. Wood - fairly hard, somewhat scented, fine grained, takes a good polish. Used for furniture. Bark of U. wallichiana is commonly used for treatment of fractured bones in animals as well asin human beings in folk tradition of Himalaya.Local people collect U. wallichiana fresh bark, crushed minutely and boiled in water for 1/2h to make fine semi-solid substrate. As bark contains strong fibers and high percentage of mucilage, substrate became laxative and sticky.

Fractured part of body is washed and properly set by experienced bone setter. Cooled semisolid laxative substrate is thoroughly poured and lapped around fractured part and tightened with a clean cloth followed by giving proper support to fractured part with thick card board. Patient is then allowed for minimum 30 days rest.
